The content of this website is directed solely at consumers who book the product through Qutravel (hereinafter referred as "you" or "your").The following Terms and Conditions form the basis of your relationship with Qutravel. Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. Access to the Qutravel website is strictly controlled by Qutravel and Qutravel reserves the right to change, modify, substitute or suspend or remove without notice any information or service from time to time.
Qutravel acts as agent only in respect of all bookings we make on your behalf. Qutravel accepts no liability in relation to any contract you enter into or for any accommodation that you book or for the acts or omissions of any accommodation or other person(s) or party(ies) connected with your booking. For all bookings your contract will be with the accommodation provider concerned. The website will guide you through the booking procedure.
Any booking that you make through this website is conditional on you accepting these General Terms and Conditions, the legal statement and Privacy Policy (the "Terms"). The Terms form an integral part of our website and cannot be separated from the general contracting conditions, operations or reservations. By visiting, using or ordering from the website Qutravel, you expressly consent and agree to be bound by the Terms and all applicable laws and regulations that govern this website and your booking.
If you do not agree to be bound by the Terms, you must not proceed with your booking.

1. Modification of Terms and Conditions
Qutravel may make improvements or changes to the information, elements, data, services, and other materials on this website, or terminate this website, at any time without notice.Qutravel may also modify the Terms at any time, and such modification shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms on this website. Accordingly, your continued use of or access to this website will be deemed to indicate your acceptance of the modified Terms.
Qutravel may suspend access to website, due to maintenance works, net security reasons or force majeure, with no obligation to reimburse or compensate you for the period in which access was suspended.
2. How to book your trip
Simply search for your preferred trip, proceed to the bottom of the product detail page. You will find a three panel booking form. Fill the compulsory fields of this field, and submit it. Please ensure you carefully check the dates, the price, your contact details and the destination details before proceeding with your booking request.You will then be notified by email of the availability of the trip you asked as well as possible price changes. This email contains a link to the order status page on Qutravel where you will be able to check your personal information, give us necessary details for booking to be complete, and accept the terms and conditions. The necessary details may include your credit card details which will allow us to perform a block / authorisation for the full value of the booking request. No charge will be made to your credit card at this time.
Upon completion of the booking of the trip on your behalf by Qutravel, a confirmation email will be sent to you. A binding contract between you and the trip provider comes into existence at the moment when we issue this email.
You will then be asked to pay your trip by paying online (Chinapay and Visa) via our secure payment gateway, by paying cash in our office, or by wire transfer. Online payment by visa cards are available through our partner Templar International UK ltd. If you have any questions about the e-payment secure gateway, you can ask them by emailing: info@templarint.com.
To make a booking, you must be authorised to make the booking by all persons named on the booking and their parent or guardian for all party members who are under 18 when the booking is made. By making the booking, you are confirming that all persons named on the booking accept the Terms and that you will inform the other persons named on the booking of the confirmation details and any other appropriate information. By making the booking you also become responsible for making all payments due to us.
If we cannot fulfil your booking request, you will be notified via an e-mail (within 2 working days after placing your order) and you will not be charged. We will do our best to suggest to you an alternative plan.
As Qutravel acts only as an agent in your booking a trip to our partners, we will have no responsibility for any errors in any documentation except where those errors were made by Qutravel in which case Qutravel will correct the documentation and inform the accommodation provider appropriately.
Reservation / booking number provided by Qutravel are for your sole and personal use; no reservation number may be transferred or disclosed to third parties and you shall be directly responsible for the use of your own reservation number.
Improper use by you of any reservation number shall result in the reservation number being withdrawn, any transaction will immediately be terminated and legal action against you may be considered.
3. Age and responsibility
You warrant that you are 18 years of age or over and have legal capacity to use the Qutravel site and to create a legally binding contract.You warrant that all personal information submitted during accommodation bookings and membership registration is correct and you accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name or account.
You hereby authorise Qutravel to ask for and to collect from the trip provider all personal information about you and the persons named on the booking that has been obtained in connection with your booking. Personal information shall be deemed to include, but not be limited to: any telephone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses, addresses of residences, signatures, ID or passport copies, or any other information belonging to you or your group that the accommodation provider may have access to.
The personal information that Qutravel collects from you and / or the trip provider shall be obtained, processed and transmitted in compliance with our Privacy Policy
4. What's included in your booking
Basic price, unless otherwise stated, includes:# Accommodation, meals and any other services explicitly stated in the product detail page.
# The quoted room rate is per person based on at least two people booking. Final price may be more expensive for single customers.
# Rates may be subject to change if the trip providers have different rates for different Nationalities of customers.
5. What's not included in your booking
The basic accommodation cost does not include:# personal expenditure
# Additional charges for rooms, meals or under-occupancy in apartments that are not stated to be included in your booking.
# Charges that accommodation establishments or apartments may make for facilities such as cots, parking, minibus services, sun beds, sauna, tennis courts and equipment, porters etc.
Children
Child prices and other conditions relating to children are agreed upon with each trip provider and are not based on any one criteria; therefore, given that each trip provider applies its own special conditions and prices, we ask that you enquire about this point when making your booking.
Extra Beds
Some accommodation providers have twin or double bedded rooms that will accommodate a third bed. Details on any supplement and/or discount applicable where a third bed is to be occupied by an adult can be obtained upon request. Accommodation providers may have no, or limited numbers of, extra beds so the ability to provide a third bed will subject to availability.
Any request for an extra bed must be made at the time of booking and if the accommodation is unable to meet any such request, neither Qutravel, nor the accommodation provider, will have any liability to you in this respect
Failure to honour the booking (No Show)
If, for whatsoever reason, you do not turn up at the accommodation on the arrival date stated on your accommodation booking voucher without prior warning to Qutravel ("a no show") this shall be considered a cancellation.
In the event of a no show without prior warning you may not be entitled to any refund. Any refund is dependent on the trip providers’ cancellation / no show policy.
6. Payment Details
At the time of your booking request, the full quoted amount will be blocked / authorised on your credit card. Only when the booking is confirmed will the credit card be charged. This process shall be quick and usually occurs within 2 working days. In special cases, it may take up to 5 days. Payment transactions on the Qutravel website are encrypted by a secure payment system endorsed by some of the world's leading banks.This technically secure environment ensures that credit card details cannot be intercepted and are not revealed to anyone other than to financial institutions required to process payment instructions from the customer.
There is no charge, no fee to use our booking service for hotel reservations.
In some instances Qutravel shall send by email the Credit Card Data Authorisation form; you must return the completed Credit Card Data Authorisation form to Qutravel by fax along with a copy of the cardholder's passport and credit card showing the signatures in order to confirm and conclude the booking process. Where this has been requested, the booking shall not be considered confirmed until Qutravel has received the Authorisation.

7. Booking cancellation OR MODIFICATION
You may cancel or modify your booking at any time prior to your arrival date. To cancel or amend a booking before arrival at the hotel please contact Qutravel by email, fax or telephone. To modify bookings after arrival at the hotel please contact either Qutravel or the hotel directly.A cancellation may result in refunds to you which will be made in the form of a credit to your credit card account. All credit card refunds will be processed in a timely manner (typically this takes 4 to 5 working days for the instruction to leave our bank). The refunds process is dependent on your billing cycle with your credit card company. Once the refund instructions leave our bank it can take up to one month for the proceeds to arrive in your account.
Cancellations
If you cancel the reservation prior to your arrival date, you may be charged a cancellation charge. Qutravel will refund you the amount paid under the contract minus any cancellation charges incurred by the accommodation provider. Typically, but not always :

Any cancellation policies dictated by the trip supplier will always supersede the typical cancellation policy stated above and those trip adviser's policies will be set out in the confirmation email that you receive from Qutravel. In such case our Customer Service Agents will of course inform you clearly and completely. Otherwise it will follow the typical cancellation policy stated above.
Please note that the cancellation charge and/or period quoted refer to the time and date in the booked destination.
Cancellation shall only come into force when confirmation of your cancellation is received by Qutravel, as opposed to when you send the cancellation notification to Qutravel. You shall be responsible for obtaining the confirmation and/or acknowledgement of receipt of the cancellation of the reservation by Qutravel.
Reservations made via Qutravel may be cancelled by either party with no penalty whatsoever in the event of force majeure, such as, without restriction, war, revolution, acts of terrorism, closure of borders, epidemics, catastrophes which may affect the various destinations and, specifically, the location of the accommodation provider.
In the event that Qutravel, at its own discretion, considers that a booking has been made fraudulently, the booking shall be cancelled and the transaction value will be returned to the same Credit card used for the transaction or Qutravel will wait until the credit card issuing a bank deduct the money from Qutravel in the form of a Chargeback.
Modifications
Modifications involving a partial cancellation, amendment or reduction in number of nights within the timescale that cancellation fees apply, may also be subject to cancellation expenses in line with the trip supplier's cancellation policy. Any shortened stays on the trip will be subject to 10% of the amount refunded to you (plus any additional cancellation charges in line with the hotel cancellation policy).
Modifications to extend the reserved period shall be subject to availability and any increase in price will be charged and become payable immediately.
Important
# Throughout the year, some trip providers may change name or trading name, which shall not be construed as a change of accommodation or modification/amendment of the reservation.
# Any accomodation ratings and/or categories have been provided by the trip providers and are in accordance with local regulations applicable to each country. Therefore accommodation in one country may not be similar in terms of services and quality to accommodation in another, despite stating that it is of the same category or rating.
# Qutravel will advise you of any information supplied by the accommodation provider regarding the existence and duration of any refurbishment or renovation works within the accommodation. Since Qutravel is merely acting as an agent in passing on information supplied by the accommodation provider, Qutravel will not accept any claim from you regarding refurbishment or renovation work of which Qutravel has not been advised or which extends beyond the planned date of conclusion.
Changes to and cancellation of your booking by the accommodation provider
If there is a change to or cancellation of your booking, Qutravel will pass on the new details to you together with any compensation that the accommodation provider may offer. As agent only for the accommodation provider, Qutravel cannot accept any liability for any changes or cancellations made to your booking.

8. Before you travel
Qutravel is not liable for damages or losses that may result from travel to any particular destination.The Consular Affairs Bureau of your own country helps travellers stay safe overseas. Check their website for latest advice on conditions in and general information concerning specific countries.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the relevant visa for the country you are visiting, plus any inoculations, ID’s, passport, etc. that may be required, and Qutravel shall not be liable for any circumstance or expense incurred due to lack of documentation or non-compliance with requirements.
Qutravel also advises you to take adequate travel insurance prior to your travels.

9. Insurance
You are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance prior to arriving in your destination. It is your responsibility to check you have adequate insurance cover. The insurance should cover, amongst other things, the cost of cancellation by you, personal losses, all medical costs and the costs of assistance including return to your home country / departure country in the event of an accident or illness.10. Force majeure
Qutravel will not be liable for any changes, cancellation, and effect on your booking, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by the accommodation providers and/or Qutravel to perform or properly perform any of our respective obligations to you which is due to any event(s) or circumstance(s) if the non performance is caused by force majeure. By way of example force majeure includes, but is not limited to, war, revolution, terrorist act, closure of borders, epidemic, natural catastrophe or other causes that seriously affect both parties and in particular the place where the accommodation provider is located as well as the country of origin of Qutravel and other unforeseeable causes beyond Qutravel’ control.11. Complaints or issues with your accommodation
In the unlikely event that you have reason to complain or experience any problems with your trip, please inform the trip provider staff or management immediately, to enable them to take appropriate action.Should you not be satisfied with the solutions offered, please contact Qutravel Customer Services, whilst you are on the spot of your trip, and we will offer all reasonable assistance to try and rectify the situation to your satisfaction. 7 days / +86 (010) 5878 4000.
Qutravel acts only as an agent for the accommodation provider and therefore cannot accept any liability for any loss or damages caused by the acts, omissions or negligence of any trip provider. Your contract for the accommodation is directly with the accommodation provider concerned.
However, in the event that Qutravel is found liable on any basis whatsoever in relation to your booking our maximum liability to you if Qutravel is found to have been at fault in relation to any service that Qutravel provides as agent for the trip provider concerned (as opposed to any service provided by the trip provider for whom Qutravel is not responsible) is limited to the cost of the booking in question.
Qutravel does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury that arises as a result of the negligent act or omission of Qutravel or its employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.
12. Indemnification
Qutravel acts as an independent intermediary in the contracting of accommodation and other services, and shall thus not be held liable for death, injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, theft, delays or any other irregularity which may arise, whether directly or indirectly, from the supply of services by the trip provider or other suppliers and which have been contracted via this system. Also, Qutravel shall not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, including economic loss, which term shall include loss of profits, loss of use of profits, business, revenue, and goodwill or anticipated savings.Qutravel shall make every reasonable effort to make the trip provider deal with any complaint you may raise.
Qutravel shall not be able to assist with any claims that were not raised during the period of stay at the accommodation.
Qutravel shall not be able to negotiate any claim with the trip provider that is raised after the date of your departure from the accommodation in question.
You will at all times save harmless and keep fully indemnified Qutravel from and against any actions, claims, proceedings, losses, costs, expenses and demands (including costs and expenses in defending such matter and its proper compromise) arising directly or indirectly out of or incidental to or in connection with any breach by you or by any of the people you booked on behalf of, of any of the provisions of these Terms or contravention of any laws or rights of a third party, or your use of this website.
When you book trips through Qutravel, you accept responsibility for the conduct of yourself and the other people on your booking during your stay. Qutravel and/or the trip provider reserves the right at any time to terminate your stay and that of any member of your party due to your or their misconduct, where justified in the reasonable opinion of Qutravel and/or the trip provider. Full cancellation charges will apply and no refund will be given. Furthermore, neither the trip provider nor Qutravel shall be under any obligation whatsoever to pay compensation or meet any costs or expenses you may incur as a result of your stay being terminated. If your actions or those of any member of your party cause damage to the accommodation in which you are staying, you must fully reimburse the trip provider for the cost of the damage before the end of your stay. You also agree to indemnify Qutravel against any claim (including legal costs) made against Qutravel as a result.
Notwithstanding the above, Qutravel’ entire liability, whether in contract, tort (including breach of statutory duty), or otherwise shall not exceed the sums paid by you to Qutravel for the specific services in question.
13. General
These Terms and Conditions contain some exclusions and limitations of liability. If any part of the conditions proves to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the conditions will remain valid. The invalid or unenforceable condition will be deemed as supplanted by an enforceable and valid form conveying the same meaning. Any dispute will be governed by the law and jurisdiction of the Chinese courts.You agree that your use of this website does not imply that any partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship exists between you and Qutravel.
14. Assignment of Rights
Qutravel reserves its rights to assign in total or in part the obligation or rights of these Terms to any subsidiary, affiliate or holding company or any subsidiary of its holding company.You are not allowed to assign any obligation or right of these Terms, or any other agreement which completes them to any third party, unless with the prior express written authorisation of Qutravel.
15. Legislation and Courts of Jurisdiction
The application and interpretation of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by current and applicable Chinese Legislation. In the event of any discrepancy which may arise from the interpretation or execution of these terms and conditions, the parties, with express waiver of any other court of jurisdiction which might apply, if any, shall abide by the Jurisdiction and Competence of the Courts of China.Deals
